Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Reunion Special, Part I Issue

The reunion episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” gave us more insight and fewer answers about the grudge that will never budge between Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer.

The two former buds, or maybe associates is the best title to give the two, went back and forth about how they each view the truth about their relationship.

What we do know is while Camille claims she is “not a liar” she has the tendency to stretch the truth or rewrite history.

According to host Andy Cohen, Camille is the cast mate who tabloids call the “Most Hated Housewife in America,” which has to be a pretty difficult title to win. There’s close to a zillion spinoffs of the “Housewives” franchise.

When Andy rattles off a list of common adjectives used to describe Camille — fake, conniving, passive aggressive, insecure, hypocritical, manipulative, insincere, delusional– you can’t help but feel a little sorry for her. She never kicked a puppy as far as we know, and that’s an accomplishment.

In her defense, Taylor Armstrong says “these people can sit behind their computers and write negative words about people who seem to live perfect lives but they don’t know her. I just think it’s cowardly.”

The one thing that should reassure Camille is that, on this series, Kelsey Grammer comes across as even harder to like. When Adrienne Maloof gets choked up watching video snippets from the show of Camille and Kelsey together, we realize how stressful this situation might be for Camille. And, perhaps if she spent some of the reunion time lashing out at Kelsey instead of Kyle, more people would be a little sympathetic.
